Magic Chef Mini Fridge
The Magic Chef Mini Fridge is slightly larger than the other units featured here. It is best to
use when you are looking to store more than just a few cans of soda, or some food. This little fridge works
best in break rooms, or offices where you need a little more room. Because this unit is fairly large, it's
possible to use it for 3 or 4 people who may need to store lunches, or other items. Large drinks fit well in
the bottom compartment and it does an excellent job at keeping a fairly even temperature, usually in the
30-45 degree range, as long as you keep the dial (which goes up to 7) set at where you like it, a moderate
setting such as 3 or 4 should be tried at first. Some of the features of this unit include: a can dispenser,
and extra storage in the door, adjustable leveling legs and a full range of temperature control.
There are several sizes available for this mini fridge. From 3.5 cubic feet up to 4.4 cu. feet,
this is an excellent solution for storing a lot of drinks and food, if you need to. The shelves are well
made, of glass, and the sturdy construction will serve you well. This is an excellent cooler, and some of
these even offer a tiny, mini freezer in the top compartment, though it cannot keep too many items frozen, it
does it's job well for it's size. These units vary in outer size dimensions: the typical unit can be 18
inches wide (or slightly more) up to 19.5 inches deep and 32 inches high. As long as you measure out your
space first you'll know for sure if it will fit, just remember you must keep the front of the door clear for
opening and storing items, unlike some other top door units.
Be careful when keeping the unit's door open as you will lose much of your cold air and cooling.
If you need something from inside, just pop the door open, grab it and close it immediately and you won't
have much problem, do not keep the door open on this unit for more than 35-45 seconds or you may lose much of
your cooling. There is some concern with the noise of the unit running, but as I said, you primarily
want to use this in a small break room, or office, so it's not going to be a big issue for you.
Overall this is an excellent mini refrigerator. The Magic Chef Mini Fridge serves it's
purpose well and will serve you when you need it, keeping your drinks and food cold, and even keeping the
small
amounts of frozen food (that you put in the freezer part) frozen too.
