Cheap Mini Fridge
There are quite a few cheap mini fridges around. You want to make sure when you are looking for
a fridge that you find one that will do it's job - keep your food cool first, and save you money second,
otherwise you may become very unhappy with a unit that will not do what you bought it for in the first place!
The bottom line is this: a cheap mini fridge is not hard to find, but a good, cheap mini fridge is.
So, how do you know for sure it will do what you want. Well, first make sure you pick a brand
that is well respected in the industry and that has pretty good reviews. Make sure that the unit really keeps
things cold, again check that others have made good use of this fridge and that it works for them. Most
importantly you want to see that the unit will cool the contents to 25 to 45 degrees cooler than the outside
temperature. Keep those numbers in mind when planning on buying a mini fridge. Will it cool your food, or
keep it cool enough for you on a hot day? If you want to use this fridge on hot days keep the outside
temperature in mind when you make a purchase - if you want to use the fridge on a 100 degree day, you may
have problems keeping your food cool enough. On the other hand, if you only plan on using it when it's 70-80
degrees outside, it may not be a big deal.
You should also be sure that the fridge can run on a car adapter, if you plan on going mobile
with it. If you travel a lot, or you want to use this unit for family vacations, of course, the most
important thing is how portable the cheap mini fridge really is. If you're looking for portability, then
take all of this into consideration when you buy one. If you don't care about portability, let's say you're
just going to use the unit in your home office, or in your den, or dorm room, it may not matter if there is a
car adapter included. If portability is a concern, check that there are options to slow down the drain
on your car battery, if you leave the vehicle unattended for long periods of time. Some units will have ways that you can flip a switch, or it will do it automatically, and will
reduce the drain on the batter when the unit is used with a car adapter.
Well, one last consideration has to be, just how big is this thing, and will it hold all of the
food and beverages that I want? Of course you want something big enough to hold milk jugs, or large 2 liter
bottles possibly, but some are not made for that. Some cheap mini fridges will only hold 6 cans of pop! Yes,
that's true. So, just make sure that you are getting what you want in that regard. Measure the dimensions of
the area where you want to put the fridge, and then make sure it will fit there, at the same time keeping in
mind how big the inside of the fridge is, so that it will hold all of your
goodies.
